The Newport Beach TheraMind Center receives direct patient inquiries either by phone or through the Contact Us feature on our website as well as referrals from psychiatrists, neurologists, and other primarily California-based medical professionals whose patients require the specialized clinical services offered at the Center. Once a contact or referral is made, our highly trained staff collects the patient’s background medical history and arranges an initial consultation with one of our Board-certified physicians to determine whether the patient is an appropriate candidate for the Center’s service offerings (including TMS). Our staff also works directly with the patient or insured to determine insurance coverages, including any applicable deductibles, co-pay or co-insurance, so that the patient knows in advance (to the extent practicable) the out-of-pocket cost, if any, associated with the prescribed therapy. Our physicians, in collaboration with referring medical professionals, develop patient-specific treatment protocols to address our patients’ unique needs. Referring medical professionals are provided regular updates on patient progress through bi-monthly reports. Patient progress and well-being are monitored throughout the course of therapy and patient behavioral health continues to be monitored for a minimum of two years after conclusion of therapy.
